Preventing Cruelty to Animals Month, National Pet Month, National Pet First-Aid Awareness Month, and National Heartworm Awareness Month are all taking place this month.

2: It’s Tag Day every day.

The purpose of this countrywide campaign, which was started by American Humane, is to encourage pet owners to make sure their dogs have ID tags or microchips so they may be securely returned home if they become lost.

2: Neighborhood Cats Trapper Certification Webinar – The Community Cats Podcast

Check out The Community Cats Podcast’s Community Cats TNR Certification Workshop to learn how you can help feral stray cats in your neighborhood. Best procedures for trap-neuter-return and colony management will be taught by expert educators. The webinar will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. PDT and will cost $10. 2: CFA Championship Cat Show “Mooau”

This “mooau” brings together Aloha Cat Fanciers and Cats of Wisconsin. Waukesha County Exposition Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin hosts this event. More information may be found here.

2-3: Cats in the Garden is a cat show that takes place in the garden.

Crow Canyon Cat Club presents the CFA All Breed and Household Pet Cat Show, which includes Championship, Premiership, Kittens, Household Pets, and Veterans. In Pleasanton, California, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, Building A. For additional information, go to crowcanyoncatclub.org.

2-3: Chicago POP Cats

Check out this action-packed event with a cat, pop, and art theme! Cat playgrounds, artists, music, picture ops, crafters, cat adoptions, and much more will be available. The Artifact Events Center in Chicago, Illinois, hosts the event. Visit popcats.org for additional information.

2-3: Cat Show During Spring Break

This CFA cat show is hosted by Mid-Ohio Cat Fanciers and has seven Allbreed, three Specialty, and ten Household Pet rings. The event takes place in Mansfield, Ohio, at the Richland County Fairgrounds. More information may be found here.

9-10 p.m.: Cat Show in the Wild West

This CFA Allbreed, Household Pet, and Veteran Cat Show is hosted by Puget Sound Cat Club and McKenzie River Cat Club. In Longview, Washington, at the Cowlitz County Regional Conference Center. More information may be found here.

Spring Fling is a cat exhibition that takes place every year on March 16th.

This CFA Championship and Household Pet cat show features Kittens, Championship, Premiership, and Household Pets, and is hosted by the Hawaii Hulacat Club and Cat Fanciers of Hawaii. In Honolulu, Hawaii, at the Neal Blaisdell Center. For more information, go here.

Mad Catters is a cat exhibition that takes place on the 16th and 17th of each month.

Back-to-back six Allbreed, two Specialty, and eight Household Pet Rings are included in this CFA Allbreed cat exhibition. Tall Cedars of Labanon in Parkville, Maryland hosts this event. More information may be found here.

16-17: Cat exhibition at Skyway Cat Club

The Skyway Cat Club of Tampa Bay presents this TICA event, which has 12 rings and takes place at Banquet Masters Hall in Clearwater, Florida. Click here for additional details.

16-17: Cat display “Texas in Bloom”

This CFA show is hosted by the North Texas Cat Club and has ten back-to-back rings — seven Allbreed, three Specialty, and ten Household Pet. Bell County Expo Center in Belton, Texas hosts the event. More information may be found here.

National Cat Lady Day is celebrated on November 19th.

The cat lady’s reputation has gone a long way! It’s gone from being a derogatory moniker to a popular one that many of us proudly wear!

2022 Animal Care Expo, September 19-22

The Humane Society of the United States announces the world’s first hybrid Animal Care Expo. There will be around 80 professional development workshops in person and a few livestreamed seminars during the event. More information may be found here.

22-24: 2022 Kitty Prom cat show

This TICA show features 18 rings and is hosted by Garden of the Cats. In Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the Under the Sun Training and Event Center. More information may be found here.

23-24: A Florida cat exhibition celebrates the arrival of spring.

This CFA cat show is hosted by New Vision Cat Club and has seven Allbreed and ten Household Pet rings. TECO Expo Hall in Plant City, Florida hosts the event. Click here for additional details.

Hairball Awareness Day is observed on the 29th of each month.

This day was developed to raise awareness among cat owners about hairballs and the issues they might cause. Find out more about those awful hair clumps here.

The Pirates of the CATtibean cat exhibition runs from April 29 to May 1.

This TICA concert is hosted by Sea Cats and takes place at the Issaquah Community Center. More information may be found here.

The Greater Baton Rouge Cat Club is holding a display on October 30th.
